Cloud provider
Operates the underlying infrastructure and provides controls within the selected service model.
Cloud solutions / Cloud Security
Strengthen the security of cloud-hosted applications, infrastructure, identities and business data through structured security architecture, monitoring, access controls and risk management.
Define roles, least privilege and administrative ownership.
Shared responsibility
Responsibilities change with the provider, service model and configuration. We document the division of work for the actual environment.
Operates the underlying infrastructure and provides controls within the selected service model.
Designs, configures, reviews or manages the controls explicitly included in the agreed engagement.
Owns business requirements and data decisions, assigns users and retains the agreed operational responsibilities.
Monitoring and response arrangements are defined in the service scope. A cloud assessment does not itself constitute certification or guarantee protection.
Service capabilities
Activities are selected and agreed against your environment, priorities and technical requirements.
Review agreed cloud services, settings and exposure, then prioritise practical remediation.
Plan roles, least privilege, administrative responsibilities and MFA implementation.
Assess segmentation, permitted connections and network security configuration.
Review encryption requirements, information access and key-management responsibilities.
Plan relevant activity logs, alerts and vulnerability assessment within the agreed scope.
Connect incident-response arrangements with backup coverage and recovery requirements.
Our delivery approach
What the approach can support
Security work is scoped to the environment and time period reviewed. Monitoring coverage, incident response, remediation and retesting are agreed explicitly. No certification, accreditation or guaranteed protection is claimed.
Before we begin
No. Responsibilities depend on the chosen service model. Providers, CVT and the customer each have defined roles that must be agreed for the actual environment.
Monitoring hours, tooling, alert handling and response commitments are confirmed in the service agreement; they are not assumed.
No. An assessment provides scoped findings and guidance. It does not itself provide formal certification or accreditation.
